Organized collection
Tray

Corian core

A collection of work furniture for various situations. Designed with simplicity as a key value.

Surfboard
Wooden hollow

6’0”

In this project I explored the art of building surfboards. I learned about shaping in traditional materials such as wood and cork.

This in combination with newer technologies like, CAD programs and lasercutting machines.

Nimbike
A bicycle for urban commuters

Divinycell foam frame

Almost everyone has experienced riding a bike and can relate to them. We felt that it would be a great challenge to redesign something that is so deeply rooted and standardized.

Could we find something new and interesting without loosing contact with those qualities people have in mind when one hear the word “bicycle?”
Designed together with Fredrik Hyltén-Cavallius.

Kitchen couch
A couch for the kitchen

3 persons/ Kitchen appliances

This couch is inspired by a really old couch that is in the kitchen of my family´s summer home on Gotland.
And like that couch, this couch has a storage space for kitchen supplies, and is a great hiding spot for kids playing hide and seek like I did as a child. The couch is made of laminated plywood.

Carry the light
Light armature

25 W/ 10 meter long cord

The idea with this lamp is that you can bring it with you and put it anywhere in the room. The lamp have a 10 meter long cord witch enables you to have your light far away from the power source. When wrapping up the cord you create a shade that changes depending on how much cord you use.

Shelter
Surfboard-bag/tent

7.4 foot/ 2 board/ 1 person tent

Stay where the waves break. A tent design for spontaneous camping during surftrips. Designed with high-tech materials and with smart solutions for easy assemblance.

A boardbag with a detachable tent included inside. The tent is light, compact and integrated in a Pro-lite boardbag.

Publications: Trip surf Magazine, August issue 2006.

Design.

Just making sure I understood it.

The aim with this project was to examine my thoughts and ideas about my future profession. Prior to commencing the project I felt the need to find out what I have learned during my training to become an Industrial Designer. Looking back on all the knowledge and impressions that I have assimilated throughout these years of training – where do I stand in all this?
